Things you need to know before sending a wire transfer

Incorrect or missing information may lead to delays4 to your International Wire Transfer so it’s important to double-check that your wire transfer details are correct.  A transfer fee5 is charged for each outgoing Wire Transfer.

Wire Transfer requests submitted before 4:15 PM Eastern Time (ET) on a business day will be processed the same day. Wire Transfer requests to domestic banks and international banks can be completed online at any time, however, those completed after 4:15 PM ET on business days will be automatically re-dated to the next business day. International Wire Transfers can be cancelled for up to 30 minutes after payment is authorized with no penalty.

To make an International Wire Transfers you’ll need to know the following:

  • Your own account details
  • Recipient’s full name and address
  • Recipients’ bank code
  • IBAN (International Bank Account number) or account number
  • Country of recipient's bank
  • Amount of the wire transfer
  • Any reference
  • Reason for making the wire transfer

You can receive International Wire Transfers in a foreign currency or Global Dollars. If a wire transfer is received in a different currency to what your account is held in, we'll convert it using the RoyalPax Capital Bank Exchange Rate at that time, before crediting it to your account. 

 

The remitter will need to know the following information about the account you wish to be credited to ensure the wire transfer happens as quickly as possible:

  • Your full name and address
  • SWIFT Code
  • IBAN (International Bank Account Number) or account number
  • BIC (Business Identifier Code)

How to make an International Wire Transfer

  • Make a wire transfer online

1.  Get a Security Code from your RoyalPax Capital Bank Security Device

    To make a wire transfer online, you need to log on to Personal Internet Banking     with a Security Code generated from your RoyalPax Capital Bank Security Device (Digital or     Physical).

2.  Log on to Personal Internet Banking

     International Wire Transfers are only available through Personal Internet               Banking. If you are not yet registered, you can register here.

3.  Select 'My RoyalPax Capital Bank' tab at the top left and click 'Pay or transfer' under 'Move            Money' section

    Then select the account that you wish to make a wire transfer from, then click     on 'New Payee' tab

4.  Enter wire transfer details

    Follow the on-screen instruction.

5.  Review and Confirm your wire transfer details.

1 Eligible accounts include all deposit accounts except for CDs and Commercial Accounts.

2 Your instruction to transfer funds from your account to a third party is a Payment Order. The Bank is authorized, at its option, to charge your account in the amount of any Payment Order and to execute a Payment Order, even if the Payment Order conflicts with any other instructions received by the Bank from you (unless your transfer is a remittance transfer, as defined in Subpart B of Regulation E [12 CFR section 1005.30], in which case additional rules apply which will be provided in the disclosures we give you when you use that service) or results in an overdraft or payment to or for the benefit of a person authorized by you to sign checks or transfer funds for you. If there are not sufficient available funds in your account, the Bank may, without prior notice or demand, charge any account maintained by you with the Bank or setoff against any amount the Bank owes you in order to obtain payment of your obligations. By submitting this form, you are rejecting the Level One Security Procedures offered by the Bank and choosing the Level Two Security Procedures described in the FUNDS TRANSFERS section of the Bank's Rules for Consumer Deposit Accounts Rules, which you acknowledge are commercially reasonable pursuant to Section 4A-202(c) of the Uniform Commercial Code unless remittance transfer rules apply.

4 If the payment order for your transfer (domestic or international remittance) includes an incorrect account number or recipient institution identifier, you could lose the transfer amount.
